What Facebook Featured content is
Facebook lets you copy selected photos and stories into a Featured collection on your profile. Meta says this Featured copy is public. Adding an item does not change the audience of the original photo or story in its original location.
That distinction matters: Featured content lives on a profile, but viewing it is not the same thing as Facebook reporting a general profile visit.
Featured content versus a live Facebook Story
Facebook documents a named viewer list for a personal Story. The Story’s creator can open the Story and see who viewed or reacted to it.
Meta does not publicly document an equivalent, permanent list that identifies everyone who later opens a Featured collection. App labels and layouts can vary, so do not assume that a count or category reveals every viewer’s identity.

Someone who viewed a Story while it was live may have appeared in that Story’s viewer list. That does not prove Facebook will identify the same person if they later open its Featured copy.
